Park Info

Where the lake and ocean meet, Regatta Point Holiday Park provides a tranquil Sapphire Coast getaway on the banks of Wallaga Lake.

Only nine kilometres north of Bermagui, it doesn’t take much for campers to fall in love with Regatta Point Holiday Park’s spacious, grassed powered and unpowered sites. Premium waterfront sites mean you’ve got bona fide lake access to dock your boat, along with a private wood fire drum/BBQ and picnic setting. Ensuite sites also add an extra dash of luxury with your own BBQ and picnic table.

The park has quality, self-contained accommodation in spades. Most cabins boast water views – in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations – and are fitted with kitchen facilities, an ensuite, TV, and deck. A six-berth Waterfront Family Cottage is the largest cabin, with a large, uncovered sun deck and outdoor setting to make the most of the spectacular lake scenery.

Travelling with your pup? Regatta Point Holiday Park has a range of one- and two-bedroom dog-friendly cabins, which each come with kitchen facilities, a bathroom, deck, and lake views. A maximum of two dogs per cabin are allowed, and don’t forget to pick up a doggy welcome pack during check in. You’ll find an on-site dog bathing area and an off-leash exercise area near the vegetable garden (plus furry friends are welcome to run around at the nearby Haywards Beach).

The park has a boat ramp and jetty to go fishing with ease, as well as a convenience store where you can buy bait and ice. There are plenty of spots to enjoy picnics and BBQ meals, especially along the shore, with free gas BBQs for the ultimate cook up. If you’ve got kids in tow, they can play all day on the playground, ride bikes and scooters around the park, or hit the games room. The park also has fully equipped laundries, guest Wi-Fi, modern amenities blocks and accessible bathroom facilities, and a dump point.

Along with fishing, the lake is a beautiful place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and more of your favourite water activities. Birdwatchers will find lots of feathered friends in these natural surroundings, and bushwalkers can complete scenic trails (like the walks to Horse Head Rock and Camel Rock).

Because the park is conveniently located between Bermagui and Narooma, there’s not much on the Sapphire Coast that isn’t within your reach. Take a dip in the famous Bermagui Blue Pool. Spend your weekends at charming local markets and events, where you can taste the region’s locally grown produce and wine, or exploring nearby towns like Cobargo and historic Tilba. For a challenging hike, climb an ancient, forested volcano with deep Aboriginal significance on the Gulaga Mountain Walk. Narooma is less than half an hour away, where you can join a cruise to see the fur seals of Montague Island.

Already imagining waking up to coastal wilderness views, then finishing the day with a sunset over the lake? Your secluded Sapphire Coast stay is just a click away, so book your holiday at Regatta Point Caravan Park with G’day Parks today.
